Isaac Rodriguez pitched a complete game and Paxton Ridgway ripped a tiebreaker two-run triple in the sixth inning to lead San Marcos to a 7-4 win over Campbell Hall in the So Cal Invitational baseball tournament on Saturday.
Rodriguez allowed four runs on five hits, striking out five and walking three. He also helped himself at the plate, going 2-for-4.
Freshman Nolan Cope played well for the Royals, said assistant coach Mike Sandford. Cope squeezed home a run in the 7th inning and on defense he turned a double play.
Brian Sandford and Sean McDuffie each drove in runs for San Marcos (1-1).
