Luke Speier was 3-for-3 and Steven Kohler picked up the victory on the mound in Bishop Diego’s 5-3 victory over Mission Prep on Wednesday.
The Cardinals scored all five of their runs in the fifth inning to break a shutout and take the lead for good.
One of Speier’s three hits was a double. Aidan Williams recorded a 2-for-3 day at the plate.
The Cardinals have now won four straight after losing their first four games of the season.
Bishop Diego hosts Salesian on Saturday.
