Dos Pueblos was held to one hit by Burbank Burroughs in nightcap and was swept a non-league doubleheader on Saturday.
The Chargers lost the opener 5-4 and dropped the second game 1-0.
DP lefty Gabe Speier was the hard-luck loser in the second game. He allowed only two hits. Ben York’s double was the Chargers’ only hit of the game.
“The bats were asleep for us today,” said DP coach Nick Katzenstein.
In the first game, Luke Coffey had two of DP’s four hits and Dylan Rohde doubled.
