Westmont Women’s Basketball has announced plans to open its year-end banquet to the public. Traditionally an invitation-only event, the Warriors are excited to invite their fans and friends to join in the celebration of a successful year that concluded with an NAIA National Championship.
“On behalf of the entire Women’s Basketball program, we would like to extend a unique invitation to this year’s Women’s Basketball banquet,” read a statement issued by the coaching staff. “Be a part of this historic season and celebrate with us as we reflect, remember, and recognize all members of the 2013 NAIA National Championship team. We will also honor our four incredible seniors – Tugce Canitez, Larissa Hensley, Jill Wilber, and Gracie Boelsems.”
The celebration will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Westmont’s Murchison Gymnasium on Saturday, April 13. Tickets may be purchased online through April 8 or by contacting Trisha Beaudin at 805-565-7164.
