Seniors Chad Lampe and Nico Sorenson were victorious in the final home meet of their careers, but it wasn’t enough as Dos Pueblos fell to Ventura 48-24 in the Channel League dual meet finale on Thursday.
Lampe, who will be seeking his third straight title on Saturday at the league finals in Ventura, beat the Cougars’ Justin Ledesma 12-5, while Sorenson decisioned James Borelli 6-1.
DP’s Eden Martinez scored a 6-1 decision over Giovanni Ortiz and Wynter Triplett pinned Hunter Fields at 108 pounds.
