Thousand Oaks edged Dos Pueblos’ boys tennis team 10-8 in Wednesday’s season opener for both teams.

The Lancers won all but two singles sets to gain the upper hand. Alex Solonin swept his three sets.

While Patrick Corpuz won two of three sets in singles for Dos Pueblos, the Chargers had more success on the doubles side.

All three teams won two of three to total six points.

Dos Pueblos plays again on Tuesday at Arroyo Grande.
