Graham Maassen earned three key points for Santa Barbara High’s boys tennis team in Wednesday’s 11-7 victory at Beverly Hills.
“I was pleased with our balanced effort as we won five of nine points in singles and six of nine in doubles,” said Dons head coach Greg Tebbe.
Seniors Mitchell Kuhn, Avery Chernin and Austin Trevillian anchored doubles teams that all won two of three sets on the day. Maassen, also a senior, won three of the Dons’ five sets in singles.
It was Santa Barbara’s second win in as many days to start the spring season. The Dons (2-0) host Calabasas next on Tuesday.
