SBCC’s Sara Crane
Sophomore Sara Crane has been named to the first-team All-WSC North women?s basketball squad.
The 5-11 guard/forward from Dos Pueblos High averaged 7.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and was second in steals in the WSC at 3.2 per game.
Keia Nobles (5.4 rebounds) and Michelle Herrera were honorable mention for the Vaqueros, who finished third in conference at 5-5.
Santa Barbara (17-12) was seeded 12th for the Southern Cal Regional and plays a second-round game on Saturday at No. 5 San Bernardino Valley (24-5).
The Vaqueros are making their eighth playoff appearance in nine years.
