Rafael Ramirez and Josh Mingura held SBCC to three singles on Thursday, leading El Camino to a 3-2 baseball victory in Torrance.
The Warriors (6-7) took a 3-0 lead with single runs in the first, second and fifth innings. The Vaqueros (6-7) scored twice in the sixth.
Connor Detko pitched a six-hitter for Santa Barbara and outfielder Zach Zehner extended his hitting streak to 10 games.
The two-time defending WSC North champion Vaqueros open their 20-game conference season on Tuesday when Ventura comes to Pershing Park for a 2 p.m. contest.
