Max Wankner recorded a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds, powering Cate to a 59-45 win over Dunn on the Rams’ Senior Night.
“It was truly a team effort for the Rams with the entire team contributing to their scoring effort,” Cate coach Bryan Rodriguez said. “The Rams not only shared the minutes, but they also shared the ball, compiling 15 total assists.
Cate also dominated on the boards, totaling 36 rebounds, 17 of which were on the offensive glass.
Point guard, Spencer Shapiro, added 10 points, three assists, and three steals, while guard, Justin Lucchesi scored 8 points off the bench.
The Rams finish the regular season at 12-7 and 8-4 in the Condor League. They shared second place with Thacher, but won a coin toss a the league’s No. 2 team in the CIF Playoffs.
