Bethany Lugo scored 15 points and Erin Saito added 13 in Carpinteria’s 52-31 non-league win over Holy Family on Friday.
Lugo scored 12 of her 15 points in the second quarter when the Warriors erased an early deficit by outscoring Holy Family 21-6 leading up to halftime.
Saito pulled down eight rebounds while Amy Davis scored six points with seven rebounds.
The Warriors, who improved to 7-5, saw nine players score.
“I’ve been saying this all season but it was another good team win,” Carpinteria head coach Dan Mercer said.
Carpinteria, which hadn’t played since December 21, is on a four-game winning streak heading into its league opener with Fillmore on Tuesday.
