Grace Dickman and Lanea Pearson each scored 11 points, but it was enough as Cate’s girls basketball team fell to Santa Clara 48-45 in a non-league game.
Dickman was all over the court. She had 10 rebounds, five assists and five steals.
“Grace Dickman played so well that the opposing coach said to me after the game, ‘Number 11, wow… number 11, wow.’ Grace was literally every where on the court,” said Cate coach Jay Dorion.
Pearson was 3-3 in the first half from 3 point land and played with a ton of energy and stepped up in a big way when Grace fouled out with a couple of minutes to play,” said Dorion.
Brittany Newsome added 10 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots for the Rams.
