Two Dos Pueblos football players were named to the 2012 All-CIF Western Division squad.
Lineman Jason Schwartz was selected to the offensive team and linebacker Nico Bornand was picked to the defensive unit. Both players are seniors.
Lompoc placed six players on the All-CIF squad. Named to the offense were running back Nikko Hayes, and lineman Joshua Powers. The defensive players honored are defensive back Tony Cornejo, linebacker Willie Irbarren, lineman Ainuu Taua and utility player Ralphie Arellano.
The division’s players of the year were running back Terrell Newby of Chaminade and defensive back Adoree’ Jackson of Serra.
Serra’s Scott Altenberg was named coach of the year.
