Carpinteria’s boys basketball team pounded Grace Brethren 65-19 in Wednesday’s Frontier League game.
Kyle Millhollin and Xavier De Alba posted 15 points each while Duncan Gordon scored 13. Gordon added a team-high 12 rebounds for a double-double. De Alba pulled down seven rebounds.
Point guard Marcus Hutchinson handed out six assists.
Carpinteria led 40-15 at halftime.
“We were able to push the game even further in the second half. Everyone logged great minutes,” reported Warriors head coach Johnny Ward. “This was a good game for us to bounce back from after two tough losses in league.”
Carpinteria (8-10, 2-2) travels to Nordhoff on Friday.
