Carpinteria made a great response after falling behind for the first time in a Tri-Valley League boys soccer match on Friday.
Luis Cisneros scored three goals, helping the Warriors beat Oak Park 4-1 and stay undefeated in league
Oak Park stunned Carpinteria by taking a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute.
But Cisneros got the Warriors even by finishing a nice cross from Ruben Miranda with a power header.
“Our guys threw it into fifth gear after being down 1-0 and never looked back,” said Carpinteria coach Leo Quintero.
Cisneros went off for two goals after halftime to complete his hat trick. He scored in the 53rd and 75th minute of the game.
Victor Saldana added the fourth goal of the game with the assist from Angel Varela.
Carpinteria is now 6-1-2 overall and 3-0 in the TVL.
