Bishop Diego’s boys basketball team dropped its first Tri-Valley League game on Wedenesday 63-53 at St. Bonaventure.
The Seraphs outscored the Cardinals by 11 in the third quarter to open up a 16-point lead heading into the final period.
Caleb Richey poured in 28 points and Thomas Lash posted 19 for Bishop, combining for 90 percent of the Cardinals’ scoring.
Both teams were 1-0 in league play coming into the game, with the Seraphs remaining undefeated in TVL games.
The Cardinals hit the road again on Friday for a game with Oak Park. The Seraphs travel to Oaks Christian.
