Oaks Christian took Friday’s Tri-Valley League game 75-47 from Bishop Diego.
Caleb Richey scored 26 points for the Cardinals but no Bishop Diego player could make a shot in the third quarter when the Lions opened up a big lead by outscoring the Cardinals 21-4.
“We just couldn’t get anything to drop,” lamented Bishop Diego head coach Dean Prophet.
Grant Sexton scored 10 and Thomas Lash recorded 12 rebounds.
Oaks Christian led 29-24 at halftime before the Lions’ strong third period.
Bishop Diego (11-8, 2-3) plays at Carpinteria on Monday in a non-league game.
Oaks Christian improves to 11-9 overall and 4-1 in the TVL.
