This week’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table’s Athletes of the Week are Greer Shull and Bryce Ridenour.
The pair were recognized at Monday’s press luncheon at Harry Plaza Cafe.
Shull is the new career 3-point leader at Bishop Diego with 109 total after setting the record while scoring 21 points in a Frontier League victory over Malibu.
“She’s just done a great job this season,” said Cardinals head coach Jeff Burich. “It’s amazing the things she does for us on the court, off the court – just a great leader. I’m going to have to enjoy the last couple of months we have with her this season.”
Ridenour averaged 15 points in two Channel League victories for San Marcos’ boys basketball team last week.
The San Marcos junior led the Royals in Friday’s rivalry win over Santa Barbara by scoring a team-high 20 points.
