Rachel Smith scored in her first game of the season and Ady Willett continued to terrorize goalkeepers with her scoring prowess as the Dos Pueblos girls soccer team beat Pacifica 3-1 in a non-league match on Thursday
Smith, who has signed with USC, missed the Chargers’ first match because of a club soccer commitment. She gave DP a 2-0 lead in the 48th minute off an assist from Willett.
Willett, who scored two goals in DP’s season-opener last week, opened the scoring on Thursday by finishing a corner kick from Shelby Hoffman in the 16th minute.
After Pacifica cut the Charger lead in half, Willett struck again with an unassisted goal in the 77th minute.
Dos Pueblos (2-0) returns to action on Monday at Arroyo Grande.
