Members of the recently crowned MLS Cup-champion Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team were guest bartending during happy hour Monday, Dec. 10 at Arch Rock Fish restaurant on Anacapa Street.
The names of the players were not known, but it was confirmed by a restaurant spokesperson that David Beckham was not one of them. The players will be serving drinks from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The players are coming to Arch Rock Fish as a guest of former Galaxy star and three-time U.S. World Cup team member Cobi Jones, who is an investor in the local restaurant.
Jones played on two MLS Cup championship teams with the Galaxy in 2002 and 2005. In his MLS career, he scored 70 goals and had 91 assists in 306 regular season matches. The club retired his No. 13 jersey.
The Galaxy two weeks ago defeated the Houston Dynamo to win their second straight MLS Cup.
