Nipomo sent Bishop Diego’s girls soccer team to a 3-0 defeat on Friday at the Grace Brethren Tournament.
The Cardinals produced a few quality scoring chances but could not break through.
Bishop Diego (1-1-1) plays another tournament game on Saturday morning against Channel Islands.
“We’re just hopefully going to learn from this and not it let it affect our play tomorrow,” said Cardinals head coach Tessa Binkley.
