Santa Barbara High’s girls soccer team won its third straight match on Wednesday in a 3-1 decision over visiting Rio Mesa on a rainy day at Peabody Stadium.
The three goals scored were a season-high for Santa Barbara (3-0-2) through the first five games.
Three different players scored, starting with Jackie Lopez’s header off a pass from Hannah Brisby in the 52nd minute.
After Rio Mesa tied the game, Annie DeBruynkops put the Dons back in the lead with a solo effort in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute, Megan Flynn put the game out of reach by converting a pass from Erin Graf.
