Santa Barbara High’s girls soccer team added to its string of positive results on Wednesday, as the Dons won their fourth straight match in a 2-1 decision over Santa Ynez.
Hannah Brisby and Erin Graf scored first half goals to provide Santa Barbara the offense it would need. Brisby scored the game’s second goal and was involved with Graf’s score. Brisby passed into the penalty box and Jackie Lopez flicked it onto the head of Graf who redirected it in for the 1-0 lead.
Santa Ynez cut the lead in half in the 58th minute.
Dons head coach Jeff Johnson commended the play of Ali Tro and Taylor Jaimes sharing time as goal keeper for Santa Barbara.
