Lacey Gonzalez scored 16 points in a 36-23 victory for Providence Hall’s girls basketball team over San Marcos on Thursday night.
The result improves the Lions to 6-0 on the season.
Sydney Hedges scored nine points and added 10 rebounds.
Hope Morrison led San Marcos with 11 points.
The Lions won each quarter, gaining momentum from the very start with a 13-4 run to start the game.
Providence Hall plays again on Friday at Peninsula.
