Bishop Diego knocked off Midland 3-1 on Wednesday for the Cardinals’ second win of the season without a loss.
Abel Gonzalez and Luis Ortiz both produced a goal and an assist each. Aidan Williams scored Bishop Diego’s third goal early in the second half on an asist from Gonzalez. Ryan Englehardt set up Ortiz for the second goal as Bishop Diego recorded three assists on three goals.
Midland scored its goal after falling behind 3-0 on a penalty kick caused by a hand ball.
Bishop Diego (2-0-2) plays again on Saturday against Mission Prep.
