Freshman Hannah Ross slipped a pass to Hannah Brisby for a goal in the 78th minute, helping Santa Barbara gain a 1-1 tie with Moorpark in a non-league girls soccer match on Tuesday night.
Brisby, a junior, beat the last defender and slotted the ball past the keeper for her first goal of the season.
“We had several chances but didn’t convert,” Santa Barbara coach Jeff Johnson said.
The Dons are 0-0-2.
Moorpark hit the post on a set piece in the final seconds.
The Musketeers took a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute on a penalty kick.
