Jeff Paschke’s 20 points and six rebounds highlighted Santa Barbara High’s 82-37 blow-out win over Nipomo in Friday’s Jim Bashore Tournament opener.
The Dons only led by 10 at halftime before breaking it open in the second half.
The result moves the Dons into a second-round matchup with Cabrillo at Carpinteria High. Nipomo will face Fillmore in the consolation bracket.
Santa Barbara’s season record stands at 5-1.
