Austin Gallegos scored 12 points to lead Cate into its winter break with a 59-44 boys basketball win over Faith Baptist on Wednesday.
Max Wanaker added 11 points and Spencer Shapiro chipped in nine as the Rams improved to 4-3.
“This was an ideal way to break a three-game losing streak and, even more importantly, a great way to head into league play,” said coach Bryan Rodriguez.
