Laguna Blanca completed a second-half comeback in Wednesday’s Condor League opener against Providence Hall, coming away with a 50-48 victory over the Lions.
JT Aubrey totaled 20 points to lead the Owls, who trailed by as many as eight points in the third quarter.
A half-court trapping defense helped Laguna rally in the second half. Mike Reyes collected seven steals and gave the Owls their first lead of the fourth quarter on a 3-point play.
Stephen McCaffery and Spencer Wyatt added six points each for Laguna.
Providence Hall was ranked No. 11 in Division 6 coming into the game.
