SBCC forward Brooke Amenta has been named the WSC North Player of the Week for women’s basketball.
The 5-10 sophomore from El Camino High in Woodland Hills had 16 points, six rebounds and four steals in the Vaqueros’ 71-69 overtime victory at Bakersfield on Nov. 21. She was 5-13 from the field and 6-11 from the free-throw line.
She’s averaging a team-high 14.8 points and 6.5 rebounds.
SBCC faces Solano on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the first round of the 16-team Sequoias Tournament.
