This is the final set of Santa Barbara County Football rankings for 2012.?This set of rankings follows Week Ten games and the end of the regular season. Best of luck to all of our SB County teams going forward into CIF.
Presidio Sports released the Santa Barbara County Super Seven for prep football each Monday throughout the fall season. It is a way for you to see how our County teams stack up against each other and their opponents on a week-to-week basis throughout the season.
The rankings are not based on a vote, but determined by considering a combination of results, strength of schedule, common opponents, momentum, and a variety of other factors.

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY SUPER SEVEN (11/5/2012)
1. Lompoc Braves (10-0, 6-0)

NEXT GAME:?CIF Western Division – St. Francis (4-6) at Lompoc, Friday, 7 p.m.
NOTES:?Lompoc enters the Western Division playoffs as the unquestioned No. 1 team in both their CIF Division as well as SB County. Lompoc just finished destroying its Los Padres League opponents 320-37 in six games.
2.?Santa Barbara Dons?(8-2, 3-1)

NEXT GAME:?CIF Western Division – Cathedral (8-2) at Santa Barbara (8-2), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
NOTES:?The Dons closed out their regular season with a Channel League championship. New quarterback James Hale looked strong in his first start of the season on Friday. The junior QB threw for 3 touchdowns and completed over 75 percent of his pass attempts. The Dons are back in the No. 2 position thanks to victories over Dos Pueblos and St. Joseph this season.
3.?St. Joseph Knights (8-2, 5-1)

NEXT GAME: CIF Northern Division – West Torrance (7-3) at St. Joseph, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
NOTES: The Knights scored a season-high 51 points against Bakersfield West in their regular season finale. St. Joseph had an incredibly strong regular season, as they are only seven points away from being undefeated.
4.?Dos Pueblos Chargers (7-3, 3-1)

NOTES: Even though the Chargers suffered a defeat in their regular season finale, co-Channel League champion Dos Pueblos was awarded a home game in the first round due to its body of work.
5.?Bishop Diego Cardinals (10-0, 4-0)

NEXT GAME:??CIF Northwest Division – Bishop Diego at South Torrance (4-6), ?Friday, 7:30 p.m.
NOTES:??Bishop Diego has passed every test put before them this season, reaching the postseason with the school’s first undefeated regular season. The Cardinals’ final two victories came against teams that were previously undefeated. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, a CIF rules violation means Bishop Diego will not benefit from having a home game this postseason.
6.?Carpinteria Warriors (5-5, 2-2)
PREVIOUS GAME: Oak Park 28,?Carpinteria 21
NEXT GAME: Season completed
NOTES:?The Warriors missed out on an at-large CIF bid after falling in a close game to Oak Park. Carpinteria had been 4-0 on the road this season going into the game. All five of Carpinteria’s losses came from playoff teams.

NOTES:?Righetti finished its season with just three wins. One of them was over a playoff team as the Warriors defeated Atascadero 31-14 on October 5.
