Oak Park bombarded Bishop Diego’s girls basketball team from the 3-point line on Tuesday in an 84-33 non-league matchup.
The Eagles drained 12 triples and Cardinals head coach Jeff Burch estimated that they connected on 60 percent of their attempts.
“Probably the best shooting I’ve ever seen in quite a few years,” Burich said.
The Cardinals were led by Madison Ballard-Rozok’s 11 points
and Jordyn Lilly’s 8.
“Those two played really hard in a tough situation for us,” Burich said.
The Cardinals play again on Wednesday at the Mission Prep Tournament in San Luis Obispo.
