Lexi Zamora’s last-minute layup was the difference in San Marcos’ 25-23 victory over Fillmore on Friday night.
Zamora’s final basket gave the Royals a 4-point lead and even of a cushion to hold off the Flashes.
Zamora led San Marcos with seven points. Hope Morrison tallied six and Roxy Sandoval 5.
San Marcos (2-1) plays Carpinteria on Saturday.
