SBCC landed nine players on the All-WSC North women’s soccer team.
First-team choices were sophomore midfielder Courtney Allard and a trio of freshmen — forwards Brandie Harris and Sandy Grimaldo, plus defender Linn Viklund of Sweden.
Sarah Atmajoana, Alex Abbott and Sonja Gustafsson were second-team selections. Justina Silva and goalie Brianna Robinson (7 shutouts) received honorable mention.
Harris, a former Dos Pueblos High star, led the Vaqueros in scoring with 32 points (14 goals, 4 assists). Grimaldo was right behind with 31 points (13 goals, 5 assists).
The Vaqueros (11-4-4) went 7-1-2 and finished second in conference. They were 6-1-1 in their last eight before falling to No. 3 seed Cerritos in the first round of the playoffs.
