Carpinteria’s girls volleyball team clinched second place in the Frontier League by sweeping Fillmore 25-14, 25-12, 25-21 on Tuesday in the Warriors’ gym.
Carpinteria finishes its league season with an 8-2 record behind league champion Nordhoff.
Carpinteria’s leaders included libero Kylie Augerot with seven digs and two aces. Amy Davis added six kills and setter Allie Sundara collected six digs, five aces and three kills.
Carpinteria’s next match will be its opener in CIF. Pairings will be released on Saturday.
