Sisters Glenda and Melinda Marshall hold down the top two spots after the first day of the Channel League individual golf tournament at Soule Park in Ojai.
Glenda shot a 10-over par 82 and Melinda was two shots back at 84. Lizzie Barminski of Buena is in third place at 85.
Bekah Beveridge and Leah Dunn of Dos Pueblos share fourth place after both shot an 87. Santa Barbara’s Saralisa Ortega and Claudia Fanaro are tied for sixth at 88 and Miraya Ramirez of DP is eighth at 90/
The final round will be played next Wednesday at Soule Park. The top four finishers advance to the CIF Regionals at River Ridge Golf Course in Ojai.
