Tuesday’s girls volleyball match with Thacher was Senior Night for Providence Hall, dedicated to Lions seniors Lizzy Beebe and Lacey Gonzalez.
Thacher came away the victor 25-22, 19-25, 16-25, 21-25.
Olivia Johnson and Lizzy Beebe were the team’s kill leaders with eight each. Olivia Barroca was a standout according to head coach Laura Trudelle, collecting five kills, 10 assists, and six aces. Maddie Niessen had 18 digs.
“We appreciate the intensity and leadership that both (seniors) bring to our program. We will miss them both next year,” Trudelle noted.
The Lions (11-7, 1-5) travel to Dunn on Wednesday.
