Allie Sundara made contributions all over the court to lead the Carpinteria girls volleyball team to a sweep over Santa Paula on Thursday night. The set scores were 25-13, 25-13 25-10.
Sundara, who plays setter and opposite, had nine digs, six aces and added nine kills.
Middle Maddie Handy put away four kills on five attempts and had an ace.
“The team played very well and with tons of energy,” coach Katie Julian said. “For the first time in a long time, my team is confident and ready to fight for every point. They are really coming together as a team and everyone is contributing.”
