Bishop Diego’s Lauren Underwood collected 16 kills and 10 digs to lead the Cardinals’ girls volleyball team to victory in its final match of the season on Tuesday.
The Cardinals defeated Malibu 24-26, 25-16, 25-10, 25-20.
Ellie Rouse added five kills and Josie McCoy tallied 12 digs. Greta Rennacker recorded 14 assists.
It was senior night for the Cardinals, who will graduate eight players including Underwood, Rennacker and Emily Lash.
“It was all about the seniors last night and they came to play,” reported Cardinals assistant coach John Sener.
Bishop Diego finishes its season with a record of 4-12 and 3-8 in Tri-Valley League competition.
