Jackie Ramirez shot 90 and Charlotte Skjonsby 91 on Monday, leading SBCC to third place in WSC No. 6 at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena.
Glendale won at 326, followed by Canyons (333) and Santa Barbara (367). Glendale is atop the five-team WSC standings at 23-1. SBCC (8-16) is fourth, two games behind Bakersfield.
Pattraporn Silawanna of Glendale was the medalist at 78.
“We played another long course and got off to a poor start,” said coach Chuck Melendez. “But we stayed with it and beat Bakersfield, which was good. I‘m proud of how our team has fought through adversity this year.”
WSC No. 7 will take place at a neutral site — Tierra Rejada GC in Simi Valley — on Monday at 10 a.m.
