Cate’s girls volleyball team came away with victory in Wednesday’s rivalry match with Thacher.
The Rams recorded a 25-20, 22-25, 23-25, 25-15, 15-9 decision on the road for a Condor League victory.
With two starters out of the game with injuries, Ellen Lempres, Cydney Pierce and Hannah Bowlin carried the Rams to victory.
Lempres, a junior setter, collected 12 digs and did a good job keeping points alive according to Rams head coach Greg Novak.
Pierce tallied a team-high 15 kills and Hannah Bowlin added nine.
Cate, now 3-1 in league competition, face Dunn on Saturday.
