Cydney Pierce tallied 14 kills to pace Cate to a sweep over an undermanned Providence Hall in a Condor League girls volleyball match on Saturday. The set scores were 25-9, 25-4, 25-22.
The Rams were dominating against a team that had only six players for the match.
Tamsyn Walker and Peyton Shelburne added five kills apiece for Cate, which improved to 6-1 in the Condor League with one match remaining against Thacher.
Lizzy Beebe, Providence Hall’s middle, played well in the back row, picking up a team-high 10 digs. Libero Maddie Niessen was the team’s setter on Saturday, and she had eight digs. Olivia Johnson had six digs and three kills.
Providence Hall finishes the regular season at 11-9 and 1-7 in its debut season in the Condor League.
