Providence Hall’s girls volleyball team secured its first ever Condor League victory in Saturday’s 25-20, 25-23, 25-23 result against Dunn.
“We had the best game of our season,” said Lions head coach Laura Trudelle. “A huge part of it was because of our passers.”
Libero Maddie Niessen recorded a team-high 20 digs and Hannah Park added eight digs.
“Hannah has done a great job of handling everything that comes her way,” Trudelle explained.
Lizzy Beebe benefited from the quality passing, tallying a team-high seven kills. Lacey Gonzalez collected 11 assists and Ozie LeSage came through in critical moments for the Lions in each set.
“(Ozie) really came through in the clutch for us,” Trudelle said.
Providence Hall (8-4, 1-2) plays again on Tuesday against Laguna Blanca.
