Santa Barbara’s Saralisa Ortega shot the best score of the Channel League qualifiers at the CIF Northern Regional Individual Golf Tournament at River Ridge GC in Oxnard on Thursday.
Ortega fired an 81, which included an eagle on hole No. 1 — she holed out from 80 yards.
The cutoff to advance to the CIF Finals was 78.
Glenda Marshall of Ventura shot an 85, Bekah Beveridge of Dos Pueblos scored an 86 and Ventura’s Melissa Marshall fired a 95 to round out the Channel League qualifiers.
The regional winner was Sophia Chen of Thousand Oaks with a 7-under 65.
