Carpinteria went 5-1 in pool play and 1-1 in the playoffs in its girls volleyball tournament on Saturday.
Cabrillo beat Gladstone, 25-20, for the tournament championship. Carpinteria lost to Gladstone in the semifinals, 25-15.
In pool play, the Warriors split with Cate, swept the Carpinteria JVs and Azusa.
Setter Allie Sundara earned all-tournament team honors.
“Allie played very well throughout the day, earning multiple aces and running a tough offense,” said coach Katie Julian. “Outside hitter Erin Callaway was the kill leader for the day and played very well all around.”
