Oaks Christian’s Jesse Haroden led the Lions to victory on Tuesday with a low round of 41 at Camarillo Springs Golf Course in a 227-323 decision against Carpinteria.
The result improves Oaks Christian to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in Tri-Valley League competition. The Warriors fall to 1-2 in league play.
Lauren Taira scored the Warriors’ low round with a 47.
“We played a very talented, undefeated team and despite the loss the girls all improved overall in aspects of their game and had great attitudes on and off the course,” said Carpinteria coach Chris Gahan.
The Warriors play again on Thursday against La Reina at Rustic Canyon.
