San Marcos was no match for the No. 1 team in the Northwest Division as Nordhoff pummeled the Royals 55-7 on Friday night at Warkentin Stadium.
The Rangers (5-0) were up 21-0 late in the first quarter when San Marcos’ Colin Sinninger-Banales returned a kick 95 yards for the Royals’ lone touchdown.
Nordhoff built its lead to 35-7 at halftime and 49-7 half-way through the third quarter.
The Rangers improve to 6-0 while the Royals fall to 1-5. Both teams begin their league schedules next week.
