Cate lost in the Silver Bracket semifinals at the Laguna Blanca girls volleyball tournament on Saturday.
The Rams fell to Coastal Christian 25-23.
Coach Greg Novak praised the play of freshmen Peyton Schelburne and Hannah Bowlin.
“It was a great day of volleyball and the players showed great promise,” said Novak.
