Providence Hall won its fourth straight match on Wednesday by topping Ojai Valley School 25-11, 25-16, 25-15.
Ozie LeSage and Lizzy Beebe recorded five kills each and libero Maddy Niessen collected four digs and four aces.
The victory came on the heels of a 26-24, 23-25, 25-15, 25-13 win over Villanova on Saturday that boosted the team’s confidence.
“We kept coming back, I think the girls really saw how good we really can be,” said Lions coach Laura Trudelle.
“We were all really excited about the win.”
Against Villanova, Lacey Gonzalez led the Lions with seven kills, nine assists, five digs and four aces.
“She set the tone for the girls,” Trudelle said. “She was just contributung everywhere on the court.”
The Lions presented a balanced attack, as Olivia Barroca recorded six kills, Cody Niessen six, and Lizzy Beebe five.
Providence Hall returns to the court on Friday against Midland.
