The UCSB men’s soccer team has been ranked third in this week’s NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Men’s National Poll, which marks its best ranking in the poll since Oct. 13, 2009 when it was also ranked third.
After a pair of wins over San Diego and Seattle over the weekend, in which the Gauchos outscored their opposition 9-2, UCSB jumped up three spots from the previous week’s rank.
The first regional rankings were also released this week by the NSCAA and the Gauchos are No. 1 in the Far West.
